In this kitchen I enjoy working with a wonderful team of professionals. Together we materialize in a tableware the concepts, ideas and dreams that we build together and that give life to our menu.

My first years

My love for gastronomy is more than a passion, I was born, raised and live in this environment. Daughter of a first generation oriental food restaurant owner, my whole life has been spent between pots, customers and dishes.

This has been my greatest school and has allowed me to understand from beginning to end the workings of this business, both at a macro level, as well as enjoying every detail at the micro level.

Although I was born in San Jose, Costa Rica, I have been marked by customs and traditions of my Asian ancestry, this heritage has helped me build my business vision.

My professional training

My studies include a Diploma in Culinary Arts from the Universidad Latinoamericana in Costa Rica, a Master's Degree from the Escuela de Alta Pastelería Torre Blanca in Alicante, Spain, as well as several courses in fondant, modeling and barismo. However, my specialty is not limited only to the sweet tooth. My experience in national kitchens totals more than a decade, to which I have dedicated a large part of that period to perfecting my technique.

One of my main passions is traveling, that is why my suitcase is full of experiences lived in countries like: United States, China, Spain, Israel and Korea. This has allowed me to further develop my creativity, my style, my personal seal, even in facets that go beyond the kitchen and pastry.

My life today

My main inspiration are the flavors of Latin America, giving special emphasis to local and indigenous ingredients from Costa Rica. My creations maintain a balance between the quality of the ingredients, flavor, texture and an aesthetic sense that distinguishes them.

I am currently chef and co-owner of my first restaurant Conservatorium. In this kitchen I enjoy working with a wonderful team of professionals. Together we materialize in a tableware the concepts, ideas and dreams that we build together and that give life to our menu.
